Welcome to Bookletia Online Travel Booklets Library. Your use of our site is subject to the following terms of use.

These terms and conditions apply to all our services directly or indirectly (through affiliates and distributors) made available online. By accessing, browsing and using our website or any of our applications through whatever platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the "website") and/or by registrating as a User (Reader or Publisher), you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

OUR SERVICES

Through the website we (Bookletia Marketing DMCC and its affiliate/distribution partners) provide an online platform through which all types of TOURISM & TRAVEL-RELATED PROMOTION AND INFORMATION CONTENT (for example, brochures, flyers, catalogues, programs, posters, pricelists etc., collectively the "BOOKLETS" or “PUBLISHED CONTENT”), can be digitally published online in the highly categorised library, promoted through Bookletia and our other online channels and through which visitors to our and other websites can - always free of any charge - read them and in download them. Our website www.bookletia.com is thus designed to allow publishers from Tourism and Travel-related sectors a wider distribution of their booklets to the benefit of interested readers/viewers by making them available on the internet.

These pages, the system content and infrastructure of these pages, and the online reading, registrating and publishing service provided on these pages ("SERVICE") are owned, operated and provided by Bookletia Marketing DMCC ("Bookletia Marketing", "us", "we" or "our") using in some cases licenced third party software. By accessing our website and/or registering through Bookletia.com as a USER (Reader or Publisher), you enter into a legally binding contractual relationship with us. The following Terms of Service is a legal contract between you, either an individual of at least 18 years of age or a company, organisation, entity ("You" or, collectively, "USERS"), and Bookletia Marketing DMCC regarding your use of the Bookletia Service.

Our site contains links to other sites owned by third parties. Your use of each of those sites is subject to the conditions, if any, that each of those sites has posted. We have no control over sites that are not ours, we do not express any opinion with respect to such sites, and we are not responsible for any changes to or content on them. You are solely responsible for all interaction with third parties, including any commercial transactions.

Publishing functions on the Bookletia Services have fees associated with them. When you use our Publisher Subscription that has a fee you have an opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged based on our stated fees/prices, which we may change from time to time. We may choose to temporarily change the fees for our services at its discretion, and such changes are immediately effective when Bookletia posts the temporary promotional event or a new service. Any changes to fees for Bookletia’s services that are not temporary or promotional will be effective thirty (30) days after Bookletia provides You with notice by posting such changes on the Bookletia Services and/or sending you an email. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars.

Bookletia may modify this Agreement at any time and will do so by posting the amended terms on Bookletia.com. Amended terms will be effective 14 days from being posted. Please check these Terms and any Guidelines periodically for changes. Your continued use of Bookletia Services after the posting of changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes.

REGISTRATION AND USER ACCOUNTS

You may browse the Bookletia.com website without creating an account, subject to these Terms. In order to use the full features of the Bookletia Service, you must register for an account, and you are qualified as a REGISTERED USER (Reader). From this account you can upgrade to a PUBLISHER ACCOUNT.

When you use the Bookletia account, you will be asked to provide a password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or device, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You agree that the information you provide to Bookletia on registration and at all other times will be true, accurate, current, and complete.

Free Reader Account: The Free Account is accessible to all Users of the Website. To open a Free Account and access it, the User defines a User Name and Password, which are strictly personal. The User Name and Password permit the User to access her/his account. The Free Account offers access to a service, which allows to create a personal library and store favorite content there. This service is totally free-of-charge for the User.

Publisher Free Trial: This is a free account that offers the User access to advanced features on the Website, especially publishing services, for certain period free of charge so he can fully test the features of publishing in Bookletia.

Publisher Subscription Account: This is a paid-subscription account that offers the User access to all publishing features available on the Website, for the period of paid subscription. The User may pay the subscription fee every month or every year, with automatic subscription renewal.

PERMISSION TO USE BOOKLETIA SERVICE

Subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set out in these Terms, Bookletia hereby grants to you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Bookletia servise to:

  • view, use and access Published Content and other content made available via the Bookletia Service
  • use the Bookletia Service for publishing your Content/Booklets
  • implement any API made available by Bookletia solely in accordance with that API’s documentation

Use of the Bookletia Service is for non-commercial use only.

CANCELLING THE ACCOUNT

You may terminate your account, this Terms of Service, and your right to use the Bookletia Service at any time and for any reason or no reason. An User can close its account any time by using Remove Function in the administration of the account. Unused fees are non-refundable.

BOOKLETIA SERVICE FOR PUBLISHERS

The Bookletia Services for Publishers from Tourism and Travel-Related Sectors consist, among other activities, of hosting and publishing digital content in a variety of forms. The Bookletia Publishing Service is accessible on Internet and proposes:

  • the automated online creation of an electronic publication from PDF format
  • makes this publication available on Internet
  • provide access to this publication in highly categorised professional library published on its Website
  • promote this publication through other online channels and on other (third party) websites

PUBLISHED CONTENT (BOOKLETS SUBMISSIONS)

All content published by Bookletia.com and/or through its affiliate/distribuiton channels is always accessible by anyone at no cost.

PUBLISHERS LICENSE GRANTED TO BOOKLETIA

By publishing its content the User agrees to making her/his contents that s/he publishes on the Website (Published Content or Booklets) accessible to other Users. He acknowledges that her/his Booklets are accessible to Internet search engines and to any User of the Website and other affiliate and distribution channels of Bookletia.

In order to publish any content, the Publisher User issues the following statement:

  • The registered User guarantees that all submitted/published content materials is free of third party rights, especially, trademark laws, copyright laws, and personal rights
  • The registered User grants Bookletia the unrestricted use of submitted content for its publication in online library and through other Bookletia’s affiliate/distribution channels
  • Bookletia, at its sole discretion and without justification, may choose not to publish submitted materials, to edit their classification in the library, or to delete them after publication
  • The submission and publication of materials does not entitle the User to claim any compensation (professional fees, royalties, reimbursement, or similar payments) from Bookletia

Publishers are solely responsible for all content/booklets they make available on our site. BOOKLETIA is not responsible for links to 3rd party websites and any content found on those websites. Any Publisher uploading booklets to Bookletia elects by this to make this content/booklets public and grants us a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, nonexclusive, sub-licencable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, transfer, transmit, distribute, and publish content for the purposes of displaying content on our site, distributing content by any means to users seeking to access it, and/or storing content. This license includes the right for Bookletia to convert your Published Content to Bookletia’s proprietary format, or such other file formats as may be used by Bookletia, and to display and make your Published Content available. The license granted by you to Bookletia in this paragraph terminates as to a specific Published Content once you remove or delete such Published Content from the Bookletia Service.

Bookletia is a specialized professional library and does not allow to publish content which does not belong to Tourism and Travel , or Travel-related sectors. Such content will be deleted from the library.

Bookletia reserves the right to delete any Published Content that contravenes the Article hereof, without notice.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Bookletia conducts its Services with absolute care. Bookletia explicitly denies any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or topicality of the published content in its library. In addition, Bookletia does not guarantee the publication and the availability of any contents online. Bookletia attempts to make its services available at all times. However, the User has no right to claim the permanent availability of Bookletia’s services or service without interference. Bookletia assumes no responsibility for third party websites linked to its site or services; liable are their respective owners.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In case of any disputes the law applicable would be based on the UAE Governing Law.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, INCLUDING ANY FUTURE MODIFICATIONS. IF AT ANY TIME YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE YOUR USE OF THE BOOKLETIA SERVICE.

BY CLICKING THE "I AGREE" BUTTON OR BY USING ANY PORTION OF THE BOOKLETIA SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS. IF YOU ARE USING OR OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH BOOKLETIA ON BEHALF OF A COMPANY, ENTITY, OR ORGANIZATION (COLLECTIVELY, A "SUBSCRIBING ORGANIZATION") THEN YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THAT SUBSCRIBING ORGANIZATION WITH THE AUTHORITY TO BIND SUCH ORGANIZATION TO THESE TERMS AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS ON BEHALF OF SUCH SUBSCRIBING ORGANIZATION.
